To the office of the President and Alumni Relations Officers

It has come to the attention of the Hofstra alumni that make use of the Recreational facilities that the university intends to cease to allow alumni to utilize these benefits/facilities. It is the feeling of the alumni that this is a most egregious and unfair mandate. We have not only supported the university through tuition and monetary donations, but also contribute to a sense of community at Hofstra: lending advice and connections to undergrads seeking to further their careers.

We request that you reconsider this most unfair mandate and continue to allow alumni to be an active part of the Hofstra community, which we believe is our right and no more or less than any other reputable university offers to their alumni.
