In recent times local traffic and motor vehicle accidents on Francis Street, Castle Hill have increased dramatically. Speed and Parking particularly on the Sharp bend is becoming increasingly dangerous. Residents are now witnessing more and more horrifying acts of driving on a day to day basis.
There is an urgent need to review traffic management on the street to both reduce high volume of traffic and slow vehicles down.
Contact is regulary made with local authorities about the traffic issues on Francis Street and although some action has been taken it has not reduced or prevented the current issues.
Local Residents are now coming together in an attempt to highlight the issues further and see the required action taken seriously.
