The XBox hardware is the most technologically powerful home console on the market right now and would better handle the complex graphics, textures, speed and overall features of Virtua Fighter 4: Final Tuned. Unlike the Playstation 2 version, the XBox version would look more slick, would run faster, control tighter and will showcase technical features that the PS2 hardware cannot handle, such as full-screen anti-aliasing and better quality textures and specular lighting.
The version fans of Virtua Fighter and XBox would most want to play is a home version of Virtua Fighter 4: Final Tuned. If technically possible, include player vs. player and virtual arcade XBox Live features and/or "Anniversary Edition" features like a port of the original Virtua Fighter.
It is certainly ironic that Tecmo's Team Ninja, who developed the game Dead or Alive using SEGA's own Virtua Fighter 2 arcade hardware (model 2), is now bringing Dead or Alive Ultimate to XBox, giving fighting fans online player vs. player, virtual arcade features and a port of the first DOA, while SEGA has ignored XBox owners regarding the Virtua Fighter franchise. The Dead or Alive games are major blockbuster hits on XBox and it would be a real shame if not an unforgivable travesty if SEGA not take advantage of DOA's popularity and fighting game fan demographics on XBox by bringing Virtua Fighter 4: Final Tuned to this console.
We XBox fans would love to play the latest and greatest version of Virtua Fighter on XBox if only SEGA, SEGA Sammy Holdings and AM2 would give it to us, especially if it featured Live play. Please consider the development of such a port on Microsoft's XBox.
