What happened at her meeting is a Crying Shame! RUBY DHALLA, A PWAN IN THE HANDS OF LTTE TERRORIST SUPPORTERS HERE?

Dear Sri Lankan Patriots,

On March 08 2009, Sri Lankan community members living in GTA were invited for a discussion by Dr Ruby Dhalla, the MP Brampton-Springdale, to get all views with respect to Sri Lankas current situation. The meeting was scheduled to be held at No. 1808 Drew Road in Mississauga at the premises of Durga Temple. Some of our community members who possess ideological differences with LTTE were blocked by LTTE sympathizers who appeared to be the organizers of the meeting from getting inside the meeting hall. One of our community members who managed to get access to the meeting was assaulted by these LTTE (banned here in Canada and in most parts of the world as a terrorist organization) supporters as the discussion proceeded when he attempted to ask a simple question about MP Dhallas invitation. As a result, Peel Region Police arrived at the location. The LTTE sympathizers continued to tell the police that they organized the meeting in their private premises and hence, police requested our community members to leave the place under the circumstances. Few other members who managed to get inside the meeting hall were removed by threats and acts of intimidation and while Ruby Dhalla was on the floor speaking.

Is this Canadian sense of Democracy? Of Politicks? Of Freedom of speech? What of the rights of people of Canada? Safety of citizens?

When everything has been considered dispassionately its clear that MP Dhalla has grossly neglected her own responsibility to the her constituents and the people of Canada by allowing herself to be a pawn in the hands of the surrogates of the worlds most ruthless terrorist organization that has been proscribed in Canada.

When will these liberal MPs ever learn? Its crying shame! One question! Does MP Dhalla think that only Tamils matter in the equation when over 50,000 non Tamil Sri Lankan expatriates live in the GTA as dutiful Canadian citizens?

The invitation was clearly circulated by MP Ruby Dhalla herself as the MP of the Brampton-Springdale. Our community members living in the area are completely shocked and devastated and disappointed and feel that their MP had insulted the entire Sri Lankan community.

We have a duty to sensitize our community and the powers that be in Canada and most of all decent Canadians about MP Dhallas treachery by her constituents! Your input? Please contribute Let her not go with impunity! We will remember!
