There is a school uniform rule in place which states that the wearing of white coloured ribbon is forbidden. This is doesnt make sense for the reason that white is a very established colour in the Lauriston Girls' School uniform. White coloured ribbon is a crisp, fresh colour, and looks very elegant in all shades and types of hair. Not to mention it matches the school uniform perfectly. Although you might think that its just a colour of ribbon, and its not a huge issue, but its the principle of it. Were allowed to wear navy because its in the school uniform, what about white?
