The script was written by someone very passionate about the Wonder Boy series. His name is Robin Morningstar and his work is known to Holly Valance from the comedy script Running Out Of Time. He is also known to some gamers already as the first person to write a Prince of Persia screenplay long before any studio acquired the film rights and left him in the cold. He is currently in negotiations to work on the new Star Trek series Star Trek: Protector.

Itfs expected to run for 70 minutes.The sticking point is that Ifm told is that Sega says there isnft enough interest in the series, that they have no intention of reviving it, so they wonft release the rights. That sounds quite strange because the series was released for the PS2 in 2007 in Japan.
