A Petition to Maintain Solo Ad Sellers’ Integrity

The Goal. To increase legitimate solo ad click counts.
The Problem. Solo ads have a distinct advantage over other advertising strategies – an email list of subscribers who are already interested in the business being promoted. The list comes from solo ad sellers who select subscribers based on their interests. Solo ads are a great way to target a specific audience and get more potential buyers.
Unfortunately, there are those who seek to take advantage of trusting business owners by taking their money and providing them with fake clicks generated by bot accounts. In doing so, they provide a high number of page views, but with zero sales or conversions. The client simply gets cheated out of the money they paid, for ads that won’t convert.
The Solution. Having a governing body to regulate the activities of solo ad sellers takes care of this dilemma. By establishing a regulatory authority to oversee solo ad activities, clients who have been scammed will have a means to report the dishonest seller, have them publicly revealed as scammers, and blacklisted from doing business ever again. A governing body can deter future scammers from cheating clients out of their money.
Should you find yourself in doubt as to whether you can trust the solo ad seller you want to be working with, read feedback from previous clients or discussions in solo ad forums before signing the contract. As there is currently no regulatory authority to oversee solo ad transactions, it is up to the clients to stay wary of dishonest solo ad sellers. Do a little research to find legitimate sellers who have undergone solo ad training and have built a good reputation for themselves.
