We urge the Secretary of State for Defence, Right Honourable Dr Liam Fox MP, to speak to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. About Middle East threat. That make downsizing the fleet and air arm support of our troops utter madness.
We should not rely on France when it comes to supporting our troops in any pending military actions that are not related to the protection of British Shores not to include Sovereign territory. UK in fact need more aircraft carriers, more military air craft and helicopters. Much better technology with out such support of our troops in future campaigns you are leaving our service men and women in certain jeopardy.
It is always bad form to downsize the military because its seen an option to save government spending and decreasing the national debt. Today's world has not rid its hotspots and political threats. WE are still fighting a war on terror. The well being of our military services should be the top of the important list. Sensibly improved, at this time we can see a very pending threat in the middle east and one your government should be preparing for.
