Allow Boats to be Stored on Bayou St John

We feel that personal boats (canoes, kayaks, small flat boats, etc) should be permitted to be tied up and stored on the banks of Bayou St. John in New Orleans for recreational use. We understand that this privilege should not be taken lightly and agree that their should be some measures taken to reduce the number of boats that sink or cause the accumulation of trash or debris. We also feel that productive measures could be arrived at and taken to reduce problems with grass cutting and boat ring damage from stored boats, without the need for wholesale removal of the boats.
