Rock music was once a great thing. Bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Guns N' Roses were responsible for some of the greatest music ever made. Nowadays, there are still some good rock bands. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters and Muse are just a few of the many good rock bands that continue to hold the fort against the never ending onslaught of shoddy 'Nu Metal' and 'Post Grunge' bands. As the old adage 'all good things must come to an end' suggests, some bands feel the need to tarnish the good name of rock music, and make it little more than laughing stock in the eyes of many. I for one, am a card-carrying member of the aforementioned 'many'. When i turn on my television to watch some good, quality rock music, I am instead insulted by the likes of Sum41 and Puddle of Mudd. Have we offended our respective Gods in some way? If I went to church every week would the good Lord spare me from the pain? Why is it we must suffer this perpetual string of piss-poor bands that are nothing more than a copy of an imitation? As soon as Sum41 are gone (probably in about 6 months when they hit puberty), another band producing the same stale, turgid guff will appear to take over. For Gods sake, who signed Sum41 to a record deal? Whoever you are, were u comatose on ketamine at the time? Here's the answer. The almighty dollar. Thats why Adema exist. It's because their pathetic 'pop-metal' sound, and boyband looks, will encourage little girls to go out and buy their CD's and T-Shirts. Well, I've had enough. Lets put a stop to it (and you know who you are, guys!). Come on, you know that you're rubbish. How do you sleep at night knowing what you're doing to the music industry (on a large pile of money no doubt). Why do you feel the need to inflict yourselves on us? Are you that petty? So please, just stop making your crappy 'rock' and 'metal' and leave that to the professionals. Thank you, and good night.
