Canadians demand our democratic rights

We the undersigned believe in a better Canadian democracy and


Where as the Conservative party published policies in the "Stand up For Canada" document stated during the election that a Conservative government would


" Prevent party leaders from appointing candidates without the democratic consent of local electoral district associations. "


" Propose further reforms to make the Senate an effective, independent, and democratically elected body ""that equitably represents all regions."


and these promises appear to be at the least morally breached.





The undersigned Canadian Voters demand that Prime Minister Stephen Harper reverse his two non democratic cabinet posts of David Emerson, elected Liberal for Vancouver Kingsway and the non elected Michael Fortier. We also request that you reverse the appointment to the Senate of Michael Fortier.


Should you chose to refuse to reverse these appointments then you should resign for breaching your promises and policies to the Canadian voters .





Should you refuse to resign, then in the interest of Canadian democracy, we demand that the Opposition parties defeat the government at the earliest possible opportunity.
