Cancer Presumption Law for PA firefighters

New York Governor George Pataki recently signed a bill that gives New York state volunteer firefighters who get lung cancer will be legally presumed to have gotten it in the line of duty.
I wrote to State Representative Dave Hickernell about this issue for PA firefighters. He checked with the Executive Director of the House Emergency Management Committee and "There is no "Cancer Presumption" Law IN PA for firefighters. He said there is a bill introduced each session but no action has been taken to date.
I would like to get as many people to sign this petition as I can to submit to our state representatives, senators, and our governor.

My daughter is a vol. firefighter ever since she was 16 she and the others put their life on hold to help others. Why shouldnt we help those who run into fire and we run away from it. Thank you all that help us in need
