Given the recent announcement at San Diego Comic Con 2006, regarding a planned live-action Thor movie, we the undersigned ask that you cast Vincent D'Onofrio as the title character so that he can reprise the role he portrayed almost 20 years ago in the film "Adventures in Babysitting."
We understand that liberties may need to be taken with Thor's origin, and that the script might overlook the amnesia the Norse Avenger suffered during the late 1980's, while he was living in Chicago under the civillian identity of Dawson and earning his living as a mechanic (until a young girl named Sara jolted his memory).
But regardless of such narrative variances from Thor's previous portrayals, you'll definitely get our money on opening weekend if we can be treated to the cinematic tour de force of Vincent D'Onofrio as "The Mighty Thor!"
