Challenges to Warranty Coverage Evaluations

When evaluating warranty repair issues, computer manufacturers have no process of reevaluation or of contesting their findings of whether damage is covered under warranty or not. If they decide the repair is not covered under warranty, there is no process to challenge their assessment.

This is dangerous because, no technician or assessment process is ever 100\% error-free. Yet, there exists no avenue to challenge warranty damage assessments. Since charges outside warranty service are an income generator for computer manufacturers, government intervention is needed in order to protect the consumer.

The undersigned believes that there should be a process to challenge warranty coverage assessments. The below undersigned also believe that appropriate government agencies should become involved if computer manufacturers do not install such a process in a reasonable amount of time.
