This is a petition to disbarr attourney Jack Thompson of Florida. He's the lawyer responsible for several potential lawsuits against video game developers Rockstar Games and Bungie. So far his platform has been blaming video games like Grand Theft Auto and Halo for acts of violence within the world's youth. His attempts are usually shot down before they catch steam, but since he is such a scumbag to use other people's tragedy to help his bogus cause, myself and some other members of the gaming community would like to see him disbarred before he gets to do any real damage.
You might have heard of him from the case he filed against Rockstar Games claiming that the game Manhunt inspired one child to violently murder his best freind. One other example of his work is a claim that Bungie's Halo game was used by the Beltway sniper, John Allen Muhammed, to train for his massacre; even though it was well known that Muhammed was a US Army veteran and experienced marksman.
Please sign a real name, as this is meant as a serious petition. The gaming world could be seriously impacted by him if one of his ridiculous claims gets a significant following.
