Do not watch the movie EKLAVYA

Dear Indians,

This is a request to all of you not to watch the movie EKLAVYA. Vidhu Vinod chopra the director/producer of this movie has gifted a car worth Rs 3 crores to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, ostensibly as a gift for his superb acting performance in this film.

However, it will take any discerning mind to actually see that this gifting of a costly car is only a means of avoiding the payment of due income tax at the end of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.

In our country where the poor farmers routinely commit suicides because of the debt burden on their shoulders, It is highly deplorable that those who are well-off of should adopt such means to avoid the payment of due income tax. The money raised by taxes we pay to our government is after all used to provide for subsidies to poor farmers amongst other things. Their is a distant yet understandable link between the taxes and the subsidies to the farmer and other poor classes of our country.

Lets get wise and pledge that we shall avoid paying money to watch this movie in a cinema as the cast behind the movie have devised a novel way of avoiding the payment of income tax at their end.
