Remember when smaller game developers had a chance to compete in todays gaming industry at their own pace? Remember when Westwood and Activision were capable of developing games that were all the rage? Remember when Electronic Arts bought everything in sight? Every single game that has been produced by a develop after it has been bought out by EA, has never been the same. Take the C&C series for example. The game was basically half of what it should have been. Its the same story for every single game, EA is the rush producer. They spit out more games faster than any company has done before. Look at all the expansion packs for the Battlefield 2 series. The re-release of the Command and Conquer series, that they did NOT make, they bought. Clearly the bastards at EA care about one thing only, money. Not quality, not support, not even reasonable deadlines. Horrible patches (Battlefield 2 has been ruined by patches), non-existant technical support, and the "buy a company, fire half the staff, and make a game faster than they are capable of even with full staff " attitude make Electronic Arts the worst company ever. I await the day E.A. in overtaken by Vivendi, even Vivendi has more decency than Electronic Arts.
Sign and write your hatred for the money making giant.
EA should concentrate on making quality games, not millions.
