This petition is for the New Zealand Government to create a parliament with equal gender representation.
That is for the parliament members to be half female and half male.
This is perhaps the greatest human rights issue of our time.
World wide the numbers in government are four men to one woman.
New Zealand can lead the way to a balanced planet.
The laws say we have equal rights. The rules are there. Now we need equal representation to fulfill those laws. More men will support equal representation than women oppose it.
