Fight the new SL rules

This petition is for all those who oppose the new event scheduling rules of SecondLife. We feel these new rules are only limiting our selection of events in game therefore taking away from the fun of it all... the new rules are posted below as they are stated on SecondLife.com :

Event Posting Rules

There is a limit of one event per location per day unless the second event offers a completely different activity. Also, each person can post only one event per day regardless of the location unless the second event is completely different.

You should only post an event to publicize a special group activity that is led by the host. The posted event must focus on an activity that begins and ends at specific times and doesn't generally occur at the location.

Events that are OK to post are organized group activities, not simple opportunities. If you offer something for sale, or a club that is generally open, that alone does not qualify as an event. (Many of those kinds of notices are fine to list in the classified section of the Forums.) It is fine to post events for special activities that are offered in conjunction with these opportunities - for example - a "best Disco outfit contest" that promotes a club.

Examples of opportunities that are NOT OK to post as events:

* Visit my dance club.
* Visit my land for sale.
* Visit my new store, half price sale.
* Come see the vendor spots for rent.
* Join my group.
* Come by for free items or money.


Events that include organized rating are not allowed.

The event descriptions need to conform to PG guidelines - so no overt sex descriptions; sex for money, sex chat, simulated sex, strong violence, or anything else broadly offensive.

Mature events must be listed as Mature.
