As an Obama voter in the 2008 election, we're sick of our interests and opinions being ignored and insulted by White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
We're asking you to fire Rahm Emanuel for his mismanagement, inability to get important legislation passed and his role in splitting the Democratic base in a way that will make upcoming elections more difficult for Democrats to win. Mr. Emanuel has proven to be incompetent, divisive and overly conciliatory to both corporate interests and our political opponents.
Mr. President, we urge you to pay attention to the voices telling you how deeply unhappy they are with the direction of your administration that Rahm Emanuel seems to represent.
Send a strong message to your supporters that you recognize the deep rift that Rahm Emanuel has caused by his capitulation on issues like health care by asking Mr. Emanuel to tender his resignation immediately.
