Dear Secretary of the University,
For many years students have found it difficult to access their education at the Foresterhill campus of the University of Aberdeen. The public bus service provided by First is woeful and there are more and more students based at Hillhead who are doing all of their studying at Foresterhill.
Whilst we applaud the University's step in starting a shuttle bus, we are extremely disappointed that the University has decided to make this service for staff only. We believe that the University is a community of knowledge and that students and staff should be treated equally as members of that community.
We call upon you to open the bus up to students as well as University staff members and to re-route it so that it also passes through the Hillhead Halls of Accommodation.
