Fruits Basket is a anime seires that could do a much better job of bridging the gap between anime and comedy the Super Milk Chan did.
Many fans want it to be put on air, as quoted from the [Adult Swim} message boreds:

Fruits Basket would also attratact a whole new set of veiwers as Fruits Bakset appeals to comedy fans, females (as well as males), drama fans, and anime fans. I truly belive Fruits Basket would get very high ratings.
