On the 22nd February 2006, The 9 Accused of the Jessica Lal murder case were acquitted, yes acquitted by the judiciary of the country and set free, 7 years after the killing of Jessica Lal in Delhi.
The Police had identified the killers immediately and even had eye witnesses but this sentence has shocked the entire country and has made us think, is the law of our country doing justice or covering up for the ones who have committed the crimes just because they belong to some of the prominent families..
We urge as many people to sign this petition are campaigning for justice to be done and the accused given a right sentence and also for the resignation and prosecution of the authorities involved in the cover up.
