Gunbound Removal of Purchasing Option

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

On May 27th, 2005, Softnyx released the new majorly updated version of Gunbound. The new update is named Gunbound World Champion, which brings many new options to the Gunbound community. Although there are many options many Gunbound players appreciate the Softnyx team for adding, there are also a few new options that players are unhappy to see added at the expense of a better option.

On May 31st, 2005, Gunbound World Champion will open and the option to purchase avatar permanently will exist no more. There will only be the option to rent certain avatar for one week, two weeks, one month, or a year.

The following is quoted from the update released by Softnyx:

"※Permanent avatars will no longer be sold in Gunbound World Champion. However current avatars, owned by the user will remain as permanent avatar in Gunbound World Champion and can be sold for 60\% of the original price."

While this may help the new members of the Gunbound community obtain avatar more easily. It will also cost the players of Gunbound more gold over a period of time. This new option has also started a rush in spending all gold to obtain permanent avatar before they are no longer available for permanent purchase.

Renting an avatar for a year will cost roughly more then one-third of the the original price of the avatar. Over a period of time, Gunbound players will become displeasured with the more expensive cost of avatar.

Even though not all players of the Gunbound community are dissatisfied with this new renting option at the expense of the permanent purchasing option; it is believed that the majority of the active members of the Gunbound community dislike and are against the removal of the permanent purchasing option.

We ask all players who believe that the permanent purchasing option should not be removed to sign this petition and send it to Softnyx.

To do this sign the petition, visit the Softnyx website at www.Softnyx.net, enter the Gunbound site, log in, and under the menu for Customer Care choose Mail Q&A. Then send them a complaint about the removal of the permanent purchasing option and copy and paste the address of this petition and send it to them. Then send this petition to your friends in the Gunbound community who is also dissatisfied and ask them to do the same.

We ask all dissatisfied players of Gunbound to sign this petition to stop the removal of the permanent purchasing option. The petition signers believe that the removal of the permanent purchasing option should be kept even at the cost of the removal of the new renting option. We will agree to Softnyx if they decide to keep the permanent purchasing option while also adding the renting option. We will also agree to Softnyx if they decide to remove the new renting option. We promise that the lost of the permanent purchasing option will cause Gunbound many losses in active players.
