Dear Members of the International Psychological and Psychiatric Profession
In our society untold numbers of persons are currently living with deep feelings of shame, guilt, depression, anxiety, and an overall alienation toward themselves and others resulting from unresolved traumatic experiences which have stunted their emotional development. Members of the psychological profession have created the term Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) to describe an inadequately defined set of criteria which qualifies a person for this label, without taking the next step to provide credible, scientific research into how such people can heal the wounds associated with this experience. Today we are all calling upon the Psychological and Psychiatric professions across the world to commit themselves to a new era of treating persons with NPD as wounded human beings worthy of receiving the same level of credible research and compassionate therapy from professionals that is already being given to other mental disorders and illnesses. We ask the professionals to examine if Narcissism is correctly defined as a personality disorder, or if it is more correctly viewed as a developmental disorder. We believe human beings living with this disorder, as well as their family and friends have been mistreated and severely harmed by the current neglect this disorder has received from professionals and we ask that you put an end to this today.

My husband has been diagnosed with NPD and no one seems able to offer anything productive to help him outside of Attitudinal Healing. I like AH but if there were more info on using it specifically with NPD it'd
