This letter of mine is to solicit support, to unite against Terrorism. 11th July 2006,India, has exposed, yet another terrible act of terrorism. At least 183 people have been killed and over 713 injured in the blasts in Mumbai and Srinagar, which had occurred on the same day. In Mumbai, 7 blasts in the span of 11 minutes clearly portray the destructive genius of the human mind. It is indeed very painful, to witness the bloodshed of your own countrymen. This incident has led to the carnage of a lot of innocent people. In any occurrence of an act of terrorism, it is the innocent people who lose their lives. The people causing this devastation might have a grudge against certain people; but why endanger lives of the innocent in the bargain? People irrespective of their caste and creed lose their lives. They have been victims to the act of terrorism, which is the fantasy of a handful of people. Is the advancement of science meant for destruction? One must question oneself before indulging in such acts. Are the terrorists achieving anything in the bargain, by killing their own brothers? India has always been against terrorism, as it has been a victim to it. Leaders all over the world have condemned this horrifying act. Terrorism has not only been affecting India; there have been past incidents in the world, which have caused massive destruction, killing thousands of people. I beseech the co-operation of the nations worldwide to come together and unite, to rebuild a better world for tomorrow.People with the common goal of uniting against terrorism,join hands and make it a better world,where people can live in tranqulity and harmony!
