Income Tax - Household income split between married couples

Canadian governments at all levels have been stealing income from Canadian families for ever. It is time to voice our discontent, and to ensure they know that we, the people of Canada, wish for them to immediately stop this and for them to put families first. Interestingly, Canadian governments have been destroying families for decades. Income tax is individual, while the benefits they provide for famlies are based on household income. There is only one winner - The Government! In Canada, Families (must) Come First! Married couples (legally married or common-law) should have the option, the right to divide their household income equally between themselves for income tax purposes. We, famllies of Canada, ask all levels of Government to immediatley take steps to change the Income Tax Act so that married and common-law couples can equally divide their household incomes between themselves.
