Is it not time that we resurrected the Federation of Falkirk Supporters?
The present situation is not ideal. We have a paid employee of the club who is wearing too many hats.Employee, Supporters Officer, One F Web Site Contributor.
He is paid to run the shop but is also the Supporters Liaison Officer-surely a clash of interests?
The fans need to get together.
The Trust is struggling for a variety of reasons.
Back The Bairns is in limbo.
The Federation might be the best way forward.
I know all about the difficulties in the past and the clashes of personalities, but surely this is the time to bring the fans together.
What do others think?
As some of you will no doubt know we have a few on going issues with being 'affiliated' with the club. I have sent in the reigon of 5 or 6 emails about our stance in regards to the affiliation and receive either little or no reply. This is not an attack on Waxy, I just feel we are being dealt a harsh card and being fobbed off in no uncertain manner. The Shuttle have been refused affiliation from the club we love and follow week in week out for one misdemeanour, that in its own right was nothing too serious. The 'incident'(a bottle falling out of the bus) was reported on here and was to ok as gospel, as an unofficial Falkirk site this shouldnt be the case. I believe the reasons behind our non-affiliation are as follows 1. We are a young group. 2. We like a laugh. 3. We spout absolute pissh on here(which shouldnt even nearly come into play in regards to the club). I started our bus 1 year ago and take time out from a busy schedule to run the the thing. I have even went as far to fork out money from my own pocket when numbers were low etc. Im not prepared to sit back and watch our opportunity to watch FFC at Ibrox and Parkhead being shattered just because we are a group of young guys who had a small hiccup at the beginning of our era. I would also like to note that we havent stepped out of line once since that incident. I have travelled on other supporters buses in the past and know exactly what goes on. Numerous incidents have went unnoticed, some even reported no doubt(one of which I know for a fact was dealt with by the police), yet these clubs remain affiliated so why not ours?
If the club dont want to be associated with a group of supporters then why sell them season tickets? Its like me having a birthday party and inviting people I dislike just to get the presents from them.
