Justice For Aicha El Bihi

IMAGINE YOUR MOTHER OR SISTER IMPRISONED AGAINST HER WILL IN THE MOST INHUMANE CONDITIONS FOR OVER TWELVE YEARS...

NOW IMAGINE THAT CONFINEMENT IS SOLITARY...

A SOLITARY IMPRISONMENT LACKING THE VERY BASIC HUMAN NEEDS; FROM FOOD AND CLOTHING, TO MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR THE CONSTANT ABUSE BY HER JAILER HUSBAND.

You dont have to imagine anymore because this is exactly what happened to one of our fellow human sisters. Deprived from her human dignity, abused and injured, Aicha El Bihi was left unattended and untreated in a bared and dirty floor house with its wooden doors chained.

Were asking for your signature to help persuade the Moroccan Justice System and all authorities involved in this case to terminate the custody of Aichas abusive husband and grant it to her family instead so she can receive the immediate medical attention she requires. The years of solitary imprisonment have put their toll on Aichas sanity but treatment and medical attention that are basic human rights are not feasible as long as custody is not granted to her family.

Please help Aicha and her family by signing this petition, forwarding it to all of those concerned with preserving human dignity, and by spreading the word.

Thank you,
