To the Legislature of the State of Arkansas:
After watching the TODAY Show on Thursday March 27, 2008 and watching the interview that Matt Lauer did with sixteen-year-old Billy Wolfe, we as the Bully Police USA organization, are angry and appalled that nothing has been done.
We are angry for Billy and his family because the school system and the legal system have done nothing to protect Billy. We are also extremely angry at the school system and the legal system because they have allowed the bullies to get away with this time and time again.
Every child in this country is within his or her right to go to school and learn. Children, who are being bullied on a daily basis, even over the Internet, are not getting that right. The consistent bullying makes children afraid to go to school; sometimes they are too afraid to even walk out of their own home.
There are children across this country who have taken their lives due to the severity of the bullying that they have suffered. IT NEEDS TO STOP NOW!! Please help protect the children of the State of Arkansas and all across this country by putting the Anti-Bullying Law into effect and enforcing it in Arkansas.
