According to the Ward Boundary Review, Toronto's current municipal wards reflect vast inequities of population that lead to long response times from councilors of high-density wards, under or over-representation when council votes, and skewed mayoral elections. (See http://toronto.openfile.ca/toronto/file/2011/01/fixing-torontos-unequal-wards) Bringing this problem to the province is the best possible solution.
