Main & Davis Funeral Home Light

We, the undersigned, believe the southwest corner light fixture located on the premises of the Main and Davis Funeral Home; Blue River Chapel, is an nuisance to neighbors and a potential danger to motorists. Light from this fixture shines brightly onto the property lines of several nearby homes and into the eyes of drivers. We believe this is putting the lives of students and residents at risk. Light also projects into the nearby State Protected Wildlife Area which affects the deer and migratory birds who reside within. This light should be removed, replaced or shielded. We understand that both the Henry County REMC and the owner of the funeral home, Mr. Joe Davis, have been made aware of the complaints of neighbors but have failed to remedy the situation to the satisfaction of those affected. We are appalled by the lack of concern shown for this serious matter. Fix this light and show that you have the community's best interests at heart!
