Mandatory registration for push bikes used on public roads.

I believe that cyclists using public roads should have a registration number plate.
This will reduce the number of cyclists breaking the law and make it easier to identify offenders.
Children and those who use their bikes off road would, of course, be exempt.
The funds raised would help pay the massive amounts of money spent on cycle lanes and insurance claims caused by bicyle incidents.
If you believe this is a good idea then please sign my petition.
Once enough people have signed up I will put this to both the Victorian state and Federal members for transport for their consideration.
