MCR fans against offensive and degrading article

Dear Sir/Madam,
We, the following undersigned, want to voice our opinion about an article written by the journalist EVELYN McDONNELL re: My Chemical Romance, which featured the tag line "New Jersey-based emo-goth band My Chemical Romance's depressive point of view is jarring in the aftermath of the Virginia Tech shootings" We not only disagree with the article, we also find it to be poorly written and researched, and offensive to fans, the band and music in general. To drag a band into such a tragic event, especially one which has clearly voiced their distain at such horrific events, is both offensive and upsetting.
This petition is to state that we as fans, disagree and object to this article.
