Introduce legislation to require positive disclosure of all evidence in a criminal case to the Defense Team at the earliest possible time and require all forensic evidence to be retained securely until all defendants have specifically agreed to its disposal. This would avoid a repeat of such cases as the ongoing 44-year appeal of Stafford and Luvaglio against their murder conviction whose innocence or guilt could have been better established had all the documentary evidence been available to the original jury and if forensic evidence had been retained to be tested with advanced technology as it became available.
