MOTHER Outside of Japan

The MOTHER series is a series that Nintendo has been underestimating for too long. This petition has been made so we can show Nintendo that MOTHER has fans outside of Japan.

You all must remember Earthbound? If you have played that game, then you have played the MOTHER series before.

Earthbound was MOTHER 2 in English, and unfortunately, due to bad sales outside of Japan, Nintendo did not release the game in other languages, and also seem to keep the series Japan-only from now on.

Earthbound was a great game, if you must know, it did not have bad sales because it was a bad game, oh no. The truth is, Earthbound was released near the end of the Super Nintendofs lifetime, so many people were clearing their selves for their next gen console. Also, Earthbound was released with a couple other things included with the game, (For example, a strategy guide for the game was included) so it was somewhat pricey, and people did not want to take any chances... Another thing, RPGs were not too popular in America when the game was released, and people seemed to think the graphics of the game werenft too good. Graphics were not the heart of the game though, what truly makes Earthbound so great is its story and witty dialogue that gets you hooked and wanting to see just what will happen next.

So you see, it wouldfve been a good selling title if it wasnft for those factors, but alas, it didnft sell well so Nintendo has lost interest in the series outside of Japan.

Now, time for this petition to start. Please sign this petition as way of letting Nintendo know, we want MOTHER series outside of Japan.

And not just released to America, we want the series released worldwide!
