Movie Maniacs Against Remakes

This is a petition against the remaking or "re-imagining" of classic movies that should be left untouched for the ages. You, the men and women responsible for these heartless entries into the anals of cinema history reside safely in Hollywood. You love money, not storytelling or imagination. You rely too heavily on modern technology, instead of satisfying craftmanship and fresh ideas. Remember when films were well made pieces of art and entertainment? Now they are redundant, soulless, 120min money grabbing CGI monoliths that must be destroyed. If you truly love film, you will cease. I ask my fellow movie lovers to make a stand and stop oiling your endless conveyor belt of rehashed works with their hard earned dollars.
