While we, the undersigned, recognize your pursuit for finding the latest trends in music we ask that you approach the underground scene with less enthusiasm and more caution. We feel that your aggressive approach to making bands the next big thing is not positive for the bands, their core fans, or the music itself. We feel that you serve not only as a catalyst to their sudden rises but also their sudden declines when you move from focusing on one band to suddenly focusing on another.
What we request that you do, from now on concerning new and upcoming bands, is to not focus on a single band extensively and overexpose them. By taking a slower approach to popularizing them, the bands will have better longevity in a changing environment, their core fans wont be left behind, and the music wont suffer. You set the standard in popular music amongst youth; we ask that you do not abuse your power.

yeah it does need to be slowed down..i mean we cant even enjoy the down to earth people in these bands long enough before MTV throws a camera and mic at them and has them on TRL, making hanging with a band pretty much impossible these days.
