We, the undersigned, call upon the NUS Office of Environmental Sustainability to prioritize recycling in NUS by placing more recycling bins around campus in order to make recycling more accessible for the NUS student population. This will help NUS increase its recycling rate from 12 percent to meet the national recycling rate of 56 percent, and maybe even the targeted amount national recycling rate of 70 percent.
