This is petition against Albanian hiding the war crimes committed in yellow house in Northern Albania (1999).
Yellow House is a house of an Albanian family Katuci in Ripe, near town Burell, North Albania, where UN prosecutors in 2004 collected evidence that organs were illegally harvested from Serbs and other non-Albanian people kidnapped from Kosovo in 1999. Victims were kidnapped by Kosovo Liberation Army ( UCK) headed by Ramush Haradinaj and then from Kosovo transported in North Albanian concentration camps.
In 2008, Del Ponte published a book The Hunt in which she collected rather extensive evidence that the Kosovo Albanians were smuggling human organs of kidnapped Serbs after the Kosovo war ended in 1999.
These prisoners were initially held in sheds and other structures in Kukes and Tropoje. According to the journalists sources, who were only identified as Kosovo Albanians, some of the younger and fitter prisoners were visited by doctors and were never hit. They were transferred to other detention camps in Burrel and the neighbouring area, one of which was a barracks behind a yellow house 20 km behind the town. One room inside this yellow house, the journalists said, was kitted out as a makeshift operating theatre, and it was here that surgeons transplanted the organs of prisoners. These organs, according to the sources, were then sent to Rinas airport, Tirana, to be sent to surgical clinics abroad to be transplanted to paying patients. One of the informers had personally carried out a shipment to the airport. The victims, deprived of a kidney, were then locked up again, inside the barracks, until the moment they were killed for other vital organs. In this way, the other prisoners in the barracks were aware of the fate that awaited them, and according to the source, pleaded, terrified to be killed immediately. Among the prisoners who were taken to these barracks were women from Kosovo, Albania, Russia and other Slavic countries. Two of the source said that they helped to bury the corpses of the dead around the yellow house and in a neighbouring cemetery.
According to the sources, the organ smuggling was carried out with the knowledge and active involvement of middle and high ranking involvement from the KLA. The tribunal investigators discovered that even if the information for the journalists was tear-jerking, the details were coherent within themselves and confirmed information directly gathered by the tribunal.

Albanian authorities ignored war crimes committed in Yellow House refusing any further collaboration in this case
On 4 April 2008 the Human Rights Watch wrote to Kosovar Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha in request to open investigations on the matter under international supervision. By 3 May both had ignored the letters and instead publicly rejected del Pontes claims as unsubstantiated. On 5 May 2008 the Human Rights Watch called the allegations from Del Pontes book serious and credible and issued a public call to Tirana and Pristina for cooperation. Albanian prosecutor Ina Rama refused to launch an investigation into allegations that Kosovo Serb civilians were kidnapped in the province after the 1999 war, and taken to northern Albania, where their vital organs were extracted. Albanians Prime minister Sali Berisha, ordered the security services to destroy documentation on the missing Kosovo Serbs, their transport to Albania, and organ trade".
