Petition Against The Petion Against The Kellogs Advert

To: The poeple who started the petition against the kellogs advert.

Your descion to critisise the new kellogs advert it petty and childish. If you male/female/alien could teach your children/pet (not suggesting you have a child of any kind whatsoever) that TV is just that, TV (which is meant to mean that TV is not real [even though some things are]).

Kellogs have simply tried to find words that rhyme and have, not intentially, placed fascist props and characters in order to undermine those who experience a lower standard of living. If they had, im sure they would have used suttler and even more undermining. If you were to critisise this advert the way you did, anyone could link any of the adverts that are aired with a steriotypical or undermining way.

One example is the new Ribena advert. This shows a grape trying to make it to the factory. On its way it is 'killed' as the grape was alive anyway. This suggests that it is fine to kill plants and squash things. It also suggest that it is O.K. to KILL grapes for us to drink. Children may believe its O.K. to squash and eat a snail as it is small and round. As you an see children are taught that its an advert and are told off for doing the 'wrong' thing (whatever it might be). This is also what the company is trying to teach the kids. If your petition was right then you should ban everything that has even the faintest link with anything, and TV should show what EVERYONE agrees on. As you know, universial agreament has NEVER existed, as ther are always people who complain and disagree because they can.

One argument i totally disagree on is the date one. You said it was homophobic, but they never mentioned that boys are supposed to go out with girls (as well as girls are supposed to go out with boys), this is just an example of a date. If it were a same-sex date, people would argue that your exact point, but in the opposite way.

This petition may offend you, but it needed to be said. I apologize for anything you take offence to, but i took offence to your petition. Thanks for those who read this and to those who took the time to sign.
