Petition against Twilight movie sequels

This isn't a petition saying that if we get enough people to sign it, there won't be any sequels. This is just a way of asking Stephenie Meyer not to hand over the rights to New Moon, Eclipse, and the other books. Stephenie, if in some amazing way you are reading this: Please, don't let them make New Moon and Eclipse into movies. Your books are too amazing for them all to be movies. Movies ruin books. I won't ever see the characters the same again or the way things are in my head. It already is getting so Hollywood. I can tell from the way the words on the page that you put your heart and soul into these books and giving the rights to movie directors is like selling your soul to Satan. Its too late for Twilight. Why the others? If anybody else feels the same, please sign this. It doesn't mean that this will completely stop the other books from being movies, but maybe we can show Stephenie Meyer how much we love her books and don't want them ruined.
