Currently, the Aggressive Tax Savers Group is working to amend the Income Tax Act to include golf and golfing related expenses as tax deductible expenses. Through many conversations with our clients, we have identified an important way to save taxes by creating the opportunity for small business owners to deduct golfing related expenses through their business. The sport of golf offers unparalelled opportunities for business owners. It creates a healthy and enjoyable catalyst for business networking and growth. Many comparable entertainment based expenses are currently deductible, and with the help of the small business community, we hope to include the sport of golf in that category.
