We, students of Beavercreek High School, feel that individual sports programs are not being equally recognized. Although Beavercreek High School offers students many opportunities to play sports at the high school level, acknowledgment and celebration for individual sports lies in favor of those occurring during the fall season (Football, Cross-Country, Soccer, etc.).
We are requesting that a similar event be held to recognize those sports not named during the Homecoming Pep rally. We understand the expenses and necessary participation required to organize such an event, and by signing this petition we state that we are willing to help account for this. Such rallies are not only important for boosting confidence in teams, but also encourages students to attend sporting events.
