Petition to Revisit Oceanside Outrigger Colors

Oceanside Outrigger Canoe Club recently conducted a membership vote which included a selection of canoe colors. Members were asked to consider cost in their decision (keeping white hulls). However, the ballot did NOT adequately list the drawbacks of the choices presented and the general membership was not solicited for new ideas prior to the ballot distribution.

As a result, the voting process ended up selecting the same colors as Dana Point Outrigger teal and white as our canoe and club colors.

We, the undersigned, believe that Oceanside Outrigger should have distinct colors from Dana Point Outrigger; we should revisit the color selection process before spending a large sum of money repainting our canoes in the near future.
