Please Donвt Use My Tax Dollars To Fund Terrorism

From All Humans Who Wish to End Terrorism

Dear President Obama:

Please stop US government agencies from using my tax dollars to fund and protect the Pakistani terrorist enterprise. The evidence is beyond question: The вsuicide terroristsв who have been murdering innocents all over the world, are trained, organized and sent from Pakistan.

When we have to take their shoes off at Airport Security, that is because Richard Reid, a terrorist trained in Pakistan by the same terrorists that organized the attack on Americans in Somalia, tried to use explosive-packed shoes to blow up an airliner in mid-air.

When we have to put all вliquids and gels in a small container for inspectionв, that is because terrorists trained in Pakistan were planning to use concentrated hydrogen peroxide, a rocket propellant, disguised as energy drinks, to blow up airliners.

When little Moshe was dragged to safety on his second birthday by his brave Indian nanny in Mumbai, his trousers were soaked in his motherвs blood. Where Pakistani terrorists trained by the Pakistan Army had tortured her parents to death and forced grenades into their bodies. This was similar to what they have done to some 40,000 innocents over the past few decades.

Ashley Tellis, noted American expert on South Asian affairs, tells it like it is:
вThe other half of the problem.. is the whole question of Pakistan and the role that Pakistan plays in fomenting terrorism. .. there is a dimension of state complicity, as well. ..the central question of whether you can be an American ally in the war on terror, while still being part of the problem of terrorism, is an issue that needs to be confronted. (The United States government) has certainly permitted Pakistan to divide the nature of its support. So, for example, from 2001 to 2006, we focused very much on getting Pakistan to sever its ties with al Qaeda. We permitted Pakistan to go easy on the Taliban, to look, you know, with a certain degree of equanimity at various Kashmiri terrorist groups. And I think some of the things that we've seen in the last few years -- both in Afghanistan and in India now -- really are examples of chickens coming home to roost.в

The report of the Congressional Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism says: вWere one to map terrorism and weapons of mass destruction today, all roads would intersect in Pakistan. Pakistan is an ally, but there is a grave danger it could also be an unwitting source of a terrorist attack on the United States в possibly with weapons of mass destruction.в

A well-known Russian expert on the region puts it bluntly: вPakistanвs military has bilked the American taxpayer out of ten billion dollars in the past 5 years, and American has got zilch for it. They have delivered nothing in returnв. That matches what you taught us during your own election campaign. Mr. President, the truth could not be clearer than that.

Even as Americans suffered economic losses due to the Pakistan-originated Al Qaidaвs attack on our country, and the terrorists traumatized our soldiers and their families, Pakistan thrived on American aid intended to вfightв the terrorism that Pakistan created in the first place. Yet the US has been permitting Pakistan to keep fomenting terrorism using our tax dollars to kill our friends, and even our own soldiers.

As human beings, we cannot stand by and let our money be used any longer to commit murder and mayhem against innocents. We request that you immediately order a complete stop to funding going to Pakistan, pending some clear and honest answers to some simple questions:

1. Why is it that the Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist organization which Pakistanвs government claims to have banned in 2002, still operates in Pakistan?

2. Why is it that just a few weeks ago, Mr. Hafeez Saeed, head of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, was able to get permission from the Pakistani government to import a specially made armored limousine? Why is this known criminal still roaming free in Pakistan, and getting special permission to buy what law-abiding citizens are not allowed to buy?
3. How did captured terrorist murderer Imran вthe Butcherв Kasab get combat training by Pakistani military officers in Rawalpindiвs military cantonment in 2008, if there is no Pakistan Army support for this terrorist gang?
4. Who funds the Lashkar-e-Toiba, given that their accounts at the Habib Bank of Lahore was closed in 2002 under international pressure?
5. Did the Central Intelligence agency make the President aware of the Pakistan militaryвs connections to this terrorist organization? If not, why not?
6. Why is America funding and supporting these terrorists, Mr. President?
7. Who authorized American government entities to send money to the Pakistan military?
8. Why have those persons not been arrested and prosecuted as traitors for sending money to terrorists under the Patriot Act?
