I think that this affects every single person who is living on their own, Whether that is by their own choice or if it is just how things have worked out for them (bad luck.)
At the moment we get a reduction of 25% off, Where if a family of say 2,3,4,5,6 or even 10 living in one property they only pay 25% more than a single occupant.
Couples split council Tax half way between them and also tend to have children to which we singles have to pay for education and recreation grounds,
Us singles who are being penalised for living alone, Do not use many of the services that the larger household uses.
This is discrimination to the single people.
Lets try to get a fair rate on single Council Tax
