We demand that student housing at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Memorial University, Corner Brook, Newfoundland reverse the decision of implementing a lottery system as a way of deciding student housing. We demand that they own up to the mistake and re-issue housing assignments. We demand that the student housing office grant confirmation fee refunds to any students who ask for them, and provide updated off-campus housing listings as a resource to those students who have been cheated out of housing, or who have, after this disgraceful situation, decided against residence living.

i think this is really unfair, and unexpected. many of us were depending on student housing and for some people who have a very demanding school schedules (like theatre students) are being forced to live off campus, which is just unacceptable
