Removal of MP travel subsidies entirely

Enough is enough. We all work for New Zealand, all provide taxes etc... Why should MP's and ex-MP's receive travel subsidy FOR LIFE. We pay for our personal holidays. So should MP's. We do not get reimbursed by our employers. Why should MP's.
The Bill that's proposing cash for perks is just another slap in the face to decent, hard working New Zealanders. MP's get paid well enough in comparison to the rest of the public workforce. Nearly double that of Teachers, for one example, whereas once upon a time the salaries for MP's and Teachers where almost equal. What went wrong?
I expect my MP's to serve their community, be trusting, honest decent people. Should they exercise their choice to leave the job for something else, they should not take ANY form of perks with them. Same as you or I should we leave out current employ.
We all do jobs for New Zealand. Why should MP's get "more" than you or I, especially when they are no longer serving MP's? It's insane and a HUGE waste of money. If you can save $1 million/ year, that's approx 20 Teachers, or $1 million for our communities.
Please sign this petition if you are in agreement that: MP's, past, current and future should not receive travel subsidy for PERSONAL travel and that they should NOT receive a cash equivalent in trade for their current travel perks.
