Repeal of cut in Winter Fuel Payment for pensioners passed in the last Budget

In view of the fact that the £200 increase in fuel bills being imposed by all energy companies was not evident at the time the budget was discussed and set, the government should consider reversing the proposed cuts in Winter Fuel Payment and indeed increase the payments, to prevent deadly hypothermia and malnutrition amongst pensioners.
